The Chicago Cubs are off tonight, but the team with which they’re tied for first – St. Louis – is hosting the team that’s right behind them – Milwaukee – in the middle of August, which makes it a pretty darn important game.
As far as which way I’m rooting, well, in order of preference it goes: double-loss, tie, 18-inning marathon (either team wins), Brewers win, Cardinals win. And I think that’s correct.
Enjoy the game and go Cubs.
