The Pirates didn’t do much today except for hitting Cubs batters, and the Cubs mostly hit the ball in retaliation. Kyle Hendricks was his typical solid-at-Wrigley self, and by the time the bullpen covered the rest of the game, it was a laugher.
The Cubs’ homer binge of the last two days has put them up to 236 on the year, a new team record. Long live the Juiced Ball Era.
