This was a weird one. The Cubs and Cardinals just got into a benches-clearing jawing match after a Cole Hamels pitch grazed Yadier Molina.
The Cardinals’ catcher and leader was barking at Hamels as he went to first base for some reason – it’s not like he got drilled – and Hamels was having none of it. So the shenanigans ensued, with Molina walking out, Jonathan Lucroy holding him back, and the rest of the teams’ coming out.
