The Washington Nationals, a team that was 12 games under .500 on May 23, are the World Series champions.
It was an incredible series that saw the road team win every single one of the seven games, and saw the Nationals come back last night from a 2-0 deficit in the 7th inning to wind up winning the game 6-2.
What a postseason for the Nationals, who went from Wild Card team to World Series winner. Along the way, they took out the Brewers, Dodgers, Cardinals, and Astros? Man, I love the Nationals!
