Chicago Cubs

Today was NOT the home opener at Wrigley Field, but thanks to Marquee, we got a look at how the Cubs game TOTALLY WOULD HAVE PLAYED OUT if it had proceeded against the Pirates: a 10-2 rout.

The digital substitute for the Cubs’ would-be Wrigley Field debut:

As you could see, Javy Báez continued the TORRID start to his season, ripping another couple homers as part of a team blast-off at Wrigley, despite the rough early-season conditions. These Cubs are just that powerful.

Also? The bullpen still dances in the digital world:

Jon Lester didn’t have his best command, but he limited the damage, and by the time Alec Mills was needed to go long, the Cubs were already way out in front.
