Quick: name five Brewers starting pitchers.
My guess is that, if you came up with two or three, you’re ahead of the curve. One of those two or three was likely Brandon Woodruff, who’ll start on Opening Day opposite Kyle Hendricks:
Brandon Woodruff will start for the Brewers on Opening Day, says Craig Counsell.

Woodruff, 27, was brilliant for the Brewers last year over 121.2 innings (22 starts, missing time because of a strained oblique), and there was little doubt he’d get the nod next Friday. He’s quite good.
Behind Woodruff, the Brewers are likely to go with some combination of Corbin Burnes, Brent Suter, Josh Lindblom, Adrian Houser, Brett Anderson, Freddy Peralta, and Eric Lauer (when healthy) in the rotation. They will, of course, somehow make it work just fine.
In the series against the Cubs, I’m guessing they’ll see Woodruff, Lindblom, and Anderson maybe? We’ll see soon enough.
