The Cubs will be doing light workouts for a handful of guys today at Wrigley Field, and then more of a normal workout tomorrow, including a simulated game. Then, the Cubs are doing “something fun” on Monday, according to David Ross. Stay tuned on that.
In the meantime, more from the Cubs’ manager on the state of things:
Cubs manager David Ross:
"We send our best to the Cardinals, those players. It's a scary time and we all want baseball to move forward and guys to be healthy. It just shows how fast it can get out of control. That part of the virus is super frightening."

Ross said he'll be "just sitting on the couch with my dog and watching baseball" at night next couple days. Will have a chance to watch Cleveland play the White Sox, with Cubs set to play Tribe next.

Ross: "Of course it's going to be difficult to play a lot of games in a short amount of days, but we can choose to focus on how hard things are, or we can be thankful that we get to go out there and play baseball."
