Kris Bryant gave us a mighty scare on a beautiful sliding play in the outfield (overturned on review), where his wrist bent awkwardly.
He was seen wincing a good bit after this play:

Frankly, it seemed like Bryant might be leaving the game in time. Still, he went to the plate for his next at bat. I was sure he was gonna be up there grimacing with awkward swings.

That’s 108.8 mph, 430 feet, and completely barreled. That might be the best Bryant has hit the ball all year. Maybe the wrist thing was like a ‘Rookie of the Year’ situation …
