Kyle Schwarber (hit by pitch in the knee) was going to be sitting down today, probably mostly because of the lefty on the mound, but also probably partly because of the knee, which took him out of the last game.
But when Kris Bryant was scratched earlier today, Schwarber wound up getting the start in left.

Well, I joke about the “he’s fine” thing, because Kris Bryant homered after his wrist injury last night, but still. Good to see Schwarber crush one off of a lefty. And off old friend Brett Anderson, to boot.
