The Chicago Cubs have once again won three games in a row. Tonight, Tyler Chatwood will look to make it four, while also looking for a big bounce back from a rough outing against the Royals. As we’ve discussed, he largely looked fine in that outing – there weren’t really any command issues, and his velocity was up – but the Royals were just crushing him every step of the way.
Alec Mills was start in place of Tyler Chatwood.
Fortunately for him, the Brewers (74 wRC+) have been one of the worst offenses against right-handed pitching this season, particularly in terms of strikeouts (28.7%).
Let’s go, Cubs.
