Chicago Cubs Game 2 Lineup: Jason Heyward Returns and So Do the Lefties

Chicago Cubs

Well, that stunk. After their hottest start in over a century, the Cubs have now lost four games in a row … to the Cardinals and Brewers. They’ll look to put an end to the bleeding tonight behind rookie Tyson Miller.

Chicago Cubs Lineup:

1. Kris Bryant, 3B
2. Anthony Rizzo, 1B
3. Javy Baez, SS
4. Kyle Schwarber, LF
5. Willson Contreras, DH
6. Ian Happ, CF
7. Jason Heyward, RF
8. Victor Caratini, C
9. Jason Kipnis, 2B

The Cubs went with the (almost) all righty lineup in the first game of this double-header, but for game two, they’re going with their more offensively sound lineup. Among those returning are Kyle Schwarber (left field), Ian Happ (who did start the first game, but only at the last minute), Victor Caratini, and Jason Kipnis.

Jason Heyward is also returning after being a late scratch yesterday. I’m glad to see his back feels better, because he was actually hitting the ball well over the past couple weeks.

As usual, we’ll have your full Pre-Gamin’ post in … about 10 minutes (7:05 CT start time).
