We’ve seen a lot of weird stuff this season, from fan-less baseball, to three-batter minimums, to universal designated hitters, to runners starting on second base in extra innings, but today we’re going to see another new thing: 7.0 inning double-headers.
Kyle Hendricks gets the ball in Game 1 and if he can find a way to throw all 7.0 innings tonight, he will disproportionately help the Cubs chances in the second game.
Also, let’s end this losing streak, eh?
