That was a wild one, with big blasts from the Cubs including an ACTUAL GRAND SLAM, Tyler Chatwood going down with an injury, Jose Quintana flashing brilliance, Nico Hoerner saving the day, and a calm and quiet 9th inning.
The biggest story, of course, is getting two homers apiece from each of the starting outfielders (first time in baseball history that’s happened, apparently), and salvaging a series split after last night’s blown game.
