Although he looked outstanding last night, as he has for most of the season, Ryan Tepera did NOT have his command today.
Not only did he come into a five-run game and walk the bases loaded, he left a two-strike meatball over the middle of the plate to one of the best fastball hitters in baseball. Nick Castellanos didn’t miss it, and sent a liner the other what that had an expected batting average of .720 according to Statcast.
