When Kris Bryant came back to the Cubs this afternoon, I was vocal in my desire to continue leading games off with center fielder Ian Happ.
See?
It is my personal belief that keeping Ian Happ at leadoff is not only the right call, but also the one the Cubs are going to make. We're going to find out soon enough. https://t.co/4KyXac5yUY

David Ross apparently agreed, and we were all rewarded for our faith:

That was Happ’s 10th homer of the season and the center fielder is now slashing .300/.421/.655 with a 182 wRC+.
We discussed Happ’s approach to switch-hitting earlier today:
We talk a lot about Ian Happ's weaker side (re: switch-hitting), but he told me about his different approach as a RHH, and the numbers say it's working.
It helps keep him productive now and could set him up for more success in the future. @BleacherNationhttps://t.co/WoyLbwkrEV
