The good news is that Jason Heyward did not hit the Injured List today when the Cubs made roster moves, even though he’s not in the starting lineup again.
The other good news is that he’s passing the tests on the big picture health stuff so far (whatever that includes), though he’s still dealing with fatigue:
Ross: Heyward continues to pass tests, but stil dealing with fatigue. Will try to stay away from using him early in the game, at the very least. Day to day.

Jason Heyward's tests this morning came back clear, and they're waiting on the results from one more, per David Ross. Heyward is still "feeling a little bit fatigued," Ross said.

David Ross: “The concern would be Jason continuing to feel not like himself and us not knowing what it is. I’m not a doctor. The trainers and the doctors – I have full faith and trust in everything they’re doing. Again, let’s just be patient and let him go through the process.”

On the whole, I wouldn’t expect to see Heyward tonight, even in a late-game defense or pinch-hitting situation if he’s still feeling fatigued. If the Cubs are still waiting on at least one test, I wonder if Heyward is even going to be at the park tonight.
In any case, let’s just keep hoping all the tests come up clear, and Heyward was just dealing with some kind of short-term, minor illness. You can’t be too cautious this year, and whenever he’s able to return, you just want Heyward to feel at his best.
