Instead of facing a soft-tossing lefty named Brett tonight, the Chicago Cubs will face … a soft-tossing lefty named Brent.
Brett Anderson has been scratched:
The Brewers have scratched Brett Anderson with a tight right hip. Brent Suter is starting.

Suter has been a long-time successful swing man for the Brewers, so I’m not so sure how much the Brewers actually lose for tonight’s scratch except for a possible couple innings in length. I expect that the Cubs are unlikely to make any changes to their lineup.
Either way, as Michael pointed out, the Cubs STINK against lefties this year:
Through the first 24 games of the season, #Cubs had a 95 wRC+ v. LHP (19th in MLB), which was seen as a problem.
Through the next 22 games (including last night), #Cubs have had a 43 wRC+ v. LHP … worst in MLB.
It's, uh, gotten worse. And Brett Anderson (L) starts tonight.
