On an indefinite suspension since a hot mic caught him uttering a homophobic slur on the air, Cincinnati Reds broadcaster Thom Brennaman is now former Cincinnati Reds broadcaster Thom Brennaman.
After 14 years with the Reds, Brennaman is resigning (which seems like a courtesy being given to him so that he wasn’t fired instead):

Brennaman hasn’t made many friends among Cubs fans in his Reds broadcasting days, and in that regard, I doubt he’ll be missed. Of note, Brennaman did not pause his resignation announcement to call a home run.
