There are worse elimination games to face than a home game with your veteran ace on the mound against a rookie with 7 Major League starts who plays for a team that – frankly – is not all that impressive. But I guess that would also make losing pretty awful … Whatever. Embrace it. This might be the last time you see some of these players in a Cubs uniform.
The #Cubs are facing their first elimination game today, with potentially another tomorrow. But am I worried? Am I stressing? Nah.
We've been here before – with worse odds and a lot more on the line. It's going to take more than a rookie SP and the Marlins to shake me in 2020. pic.twitter.com/6gspVphzi7

Both teams are sticking with the same starting pitcher and same lineup, by the way, and both teams had a day to rest their relievers. The Marlins probably benefit a bit more in that department, considering whom they used on Wednesday, but it won’t matter if Yu Darvish throws a complete game shutout, right?
DO. NOT. LOSE.
Go Cubs.
