With the pandemic still raging, it’s as good an idea as ever to have locations available for folks to participate in Tuesday’s national election without actually having to cluster around in large groups of people.
Voting ahead by mail has been a good option, though many folks would feel more comfortable dropping their ballots off at a physical location (or, maybe they’ve just run out of time to send it in the mail). To that end, the Cubs today put out a PSA that there will be an official Chicago Board of Elections drop box for Vote By Mail ballots.
A few Cubs players helped make the announcement:
Chicago voters can drop off Vote By Mail Ballot Return Envelopes on Election Day at Wrigley Field!
Chicago Board of Elections employees will staff the official drop box at the Gallagher Way Gate on Tuesday, Nov. 3, from 6 a.m. – 7 p.m. CT. No in-person voting will take place. pic.twitter.com/xanWY50e6t
