No, Spring Training performance is not 100% predictive of the regular season ahead, but there *IS* some data out there to suggest that guys who absolutely rake in the spring might see their reasonable regular season projections bump up slightly. That is to say, if a guy is really, really locked in for the spring, it can maybe make a slight difference coming out of the gate in the regular season.
Anyway, that is all a preamble to saying that Joc Pederson just wrecked another ball:

That’s already Pederson’s fourth homer of the spring, an absolute bullet out the opposite way. He can do serious damage with the high fastball, which is not something the Cubs otherwise have up and down the lineup.
