It’s another late one out west for the Cubs and Dodgers, who square off at Sloan Park with a 8:05 CT first pitch – a pitch that will come from Adbert Alzolay, who could be making his final start with the big league Cubs for a while now that his fourth year option has come through. Even so, we’ll see plenty of him in Chicago this year. I have high hopes and expectations for him.
Alzolay will pitch in front of a lineup with mostly sure-fire, Opening Day roster types tonight, with the exception of Matt Duffy, who’s still on the bubble for a bench job. The Dodgers are also running out a squad full of regulars, with their young stud right-handed Dustin May on the mound.
This game may be on late, but you can catch it on Marquee Sports Network, so fire it up and enjoy some baseball. Go Cubs.
