Jason Heyward got the start today against the lefty despite his rough career numbers there. And while it’s POSSIBLE he would’ve come in later to face a righty reliever anyway, it was nice that he was in there already just in case.

That’s 110.7 mph off the bat, and 423(!) feet. Just destroyed.
Heyward is coming off a fantastic 60-game season in 2020, so it would be so awesome for this offense if he could carry that forward.
