Friday. Afternoon. Baseball. I love it.
In fact, I love it so much I convinced Joe (the Obvious Shirts guy) to give me a special power to make any shirt I want $5 off using the code CeramiShop. That code applies to any shirt in the Bleacher Nation section of the Obvious Shirts store, but I’m going to add/remove 1-2 shirts all the time.
For example, today, from now until the end of the game, you can get $5 off the the FRIDAY 1:20 shirt and only that shirt. It’s going away as soon as the game ends, so you know what to do.
I've been granted the ultimate power: I can make any @obvious_shirts $5 off!
So to get started, one of my favorites will be $5 off in the @BleacherNation section using the code "CeramiShop"
But only until the end of the game today!

Since I’ll be doing this a lot, hit me up with which shirt you think should be discounted and why. If you convince me to pick that shirt, I will and you can get a deal.
In the meantime, we’ve got some Cubs baseball on tap today.
Drew Smyly was supposed to be the starter this afternoon, but he was a late scratch, so Kyle Wright is taking his place. The Cubs have never faced Wright before (actually, Jake Arrieta has, but that was hardly worth noting), so hopefully they’ve done their homework.
Sure, the Braves (5-8) have been struggling just as much as Chicago in the standings, but they’ve been a lot better across the board, particularly on offense, where Ronald Acuña Jr. has been the best player in MLB. So, you know, don’t let him beat you.
Meanwhile, we weren’t even sure who was taking the ball for the Cubs today until the lineup came out, and it’s Zach Davies. Davies had a really nice first start this season, but the Pirates blew him up his last time out, when he didn’t even finish the second inning. It *must* go better today. The Braves have been worse against righties (92 wRC+) than lefties (99 wRC+), though, so maybe that’ll help.
The only really notable matchup is Marcell Ozuna, who’s gone 7-20 with a double, two walks, and 4 strikeouts (.350/.409/.400) against Davies, though it’s tough to take too much away from that.
In any case, it probably won’t matter who well Davies throws if the offense doesn’t wake the F— up.
Go Cubs.
