Okay, it’s officially a homer party, as Kris Bryant hits his fourth home run of the season and the Cubs fourth homer of the day.
That’s how many homers he had total in 2020.
We want some more.

Anthony Rizzo hit an opposite field single just before Bryant came up to bat, making KB’s dinger a two-run shot. The Cubs had already scored a season-high 6 runs before this blast, but 8 runs is now the Cubs new high water mark for the 2021 season.
Bryant is now slashing .250/.346/.614 (152 wRC+).
