It’s coming on Sunday: Pat Hughes’ regular season TV debut!
The long-time Cubs radio man will call his first TV broadcast on Sunday, as the Cubs host the Brewers at 1:20pm CT on Marquee. Hughes is in his 26th season calling Cubs games on the radio, and he’ll call a handful of games for Marquee during the regular season, too, as a rotation of play-by-play broadcasters fill in when Boog Sciambi has national duties.
The first comes this Sunday, as he’ll pair with Jim Deshaies. It’s gonna be a pretty awesome moment.
