It’s been a long night already, and we all deserved something good. And this was good.

Anthony Rizzo, the best reliever of all-time, got to pitch in the 7th inning, and although he walked Ronald Acuña Jr., he got to face his friend Freddie Freeman thereafter … and something glorious happened:

That was just wonderful, man.

Rizzo’s career ERA remains a pristine 0.00, as he also induced a groundout in the inning:

The big questions we all have to be asking now: is it time to move Anthony Rizzo into the rotation? Will MLB investigate Rizzo for using illegal grip-enhancing substances? Can Jacob deGrom live with being only the second best pitcher in baseball?
