Zach Davies has had nothing but disastrous starts for the Cubs since his first outing of the season, allowing more than a run per inning overall (20 ER in 19.0 IP). Unfortunately, today, he’s heading into one of the most hitter-friendly parks in MLB to face a team that has scored the most runs per game of any team in baseball this year.
The only question now is do we expect the most obvious outcome here? Or is baseball gonna baseball and we’ll end up with a low-scoring affair? I’m … betting on the former.
The waters remain choppy. Go Cubs.
