The Cubs pitching prowess may have continued from the first-half of the double-header into the second, but the offense did not. That is, until Jason Heyward put a charge into one off Trevor Bauer (ooh … I just LOVED typing that sentence) for the first run of the game.

That was Heyward’s first hit of the night and third home run of the year. It left the bat at 106 MPH and traveled 391 feet out to right field. No one threw it back.
