Watch Mr. Walk-off Himself, David Bote, Win Another Game for the Chicago Cubs

We will have SO much more to get into tomorrow (we haven’t even discussed Keegan Thompson’s big-time, excellent performance), but before you get to bed, take one final look at David Bote doing what he does best, walking off with the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field.

It’s a beautiful sight:

Bote had just 2 hits in 8 plate appearances on the day, but he made them count (4 RBI, including a bases clearing double and a walk-off RBI single). His overall slash line is still not where we want it to be, but the guy knows how to come through in a big moment like no one else.
