Your morning update on Kris Bryant, who is not in the lineup today, is more or less the same as it was when he got pulled last night: dude just doesn’t feel good.
Ross: Bryant is "super under the weather." Didn't sleep well. Wanted to be in the lineup, but the manager thought better of it, especially with the off-day tomorrow.

It’s been described as an allergy/sinus issue, and doesn’t seem to be related to any COVID concerns. Hopefully Bryant gets that additional rest today and with tomorrow’s off-day, and is fit as a fiddle again on Friday.
In the meantime, if Bryant is down completely today, Javy Báez being back in the lineup at least gives the Cubs two players on the bench (Tony Wolters and Nick Martini).
