The Cubs and Tigers are in a kinda ugly back-and-forth affair this afternoon, but the Cubs just did a big back (or forth) when Matt Duffy hit his first homer with the Cubs.

That was Duffy’s second run-scoring extra-base hit of the day – he also doubled – so he seems to be heating back up after a lull to begin May. Oh, and it came off of former Cubs prospect Alex Lange, who was traded in the Nick Castellanos deal.
