David Ross is absolutely right to be out of this game right now. This has been some of the worst, most frustrating strike zone umpiring I’ve seen all season. And it hasn’t even been particularly consistent (as in bad calls going both ways). There’s a lot of time left for the zone to be figured out, but right now, this is just absolute trash.

In any case, Ross started chirping the home plate umpire (Erich Bacchus, 30, who made his big league debut last season) around the third inning and by the time the fourth came around, he had enough. With Kris Bryant at the dish and yet another call going in favor of Yadi Molina and Adam Wainwright, Ross let the homeplate umpire have it.

David Ross screaming at Erich Bacchus: "Be better!!"

That got him ejected and now he’ll catch the rest on a TV screen. Andy Green is now the acting manager in this game.
UPDATE: Still bad.
The Cardinals have had some bad ones too, but this really needs to stop.
In what world is this a strike? Stop being fooled, this is ridiculous. pic.twitter.com/yhFFUHVKFg
