ESPN Has Added Another Cubs Game to Sunday Night Baseball

It may be good news or bad news, depending on your perspective, but the Cubs are gonna hit up ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball yet another time in June.

In addition to this weekend’s tilt with the Cardinals, the Cubs and Dodgers game later this month will also be on Sunday night:

On the one hand, when the Cubs are competitive, they’re going to be desirable for more national exposure, and that’s not necessarily a bad thing (especially if you don’t otherwise have access to watching Cubs games!). On the other hand, those national broadcasts of Cubs games – for hardcore Cubs fans – can be such a dang slog.
