Yesterday may have been the most entertaining game of the entire season, with the Cubs mounting an enormous 5-1 comeback over the Cardinals in front of a 100% capacity Wrigley Field crowd. It was some of the most fun we’ve had watching baseball in, what, two years? Sadly, I won’t be able to catch tonight’s game, because I’ll be at a wedding (I hate Love), but I trust Kyle Hendricks has us in good hands.
Dating back to May 16th, Kyle Hendricks has recorded five straight starts of at least 6.0 IP and no more than 3 ER (26 Ks, 4 BBs).
And his 34.0 IP in that stretch are tied for the 3rd most in MLB.

If the Cubs win this one, they’ll claim another series, yes, but they’ll also knock the Cardinals down to .500. I want that. Go Cubs.
