Terrible scene down in Miami, as Ronald Acuña Jr. tried to make a leaping catch near the wall, landed awkwardly as his right leg buckled, and was not able to walk off the field.
Eventually the cart came to get him:

After cart got to the walkway by the dugout that leads to clubhouse, Acuña had to be carried off the cart and up the hallway.

As you would with any player, you hope this was somehow not as bad as it seemed. For a young star who has already dealt with a number of minor injuries, you especially don’t want to see him miss significant time.
The Braves are 4.5 games behind the Mets, in second base in the NL East, by the way. Whatever happens to their team and position in the standings over the next few weeks could strongly impact their direction at the deadline (as well as, indirectly, other teams in the NL East).
