Meanwhile, Adam Wainwright has faced the Cubs once this year, and … it did not go well for the Cubs: 8.0 IP, 6H, 2ER, 1BB, 4Ks. He’s actually been pretty solid across the board this season (and at age-39, no less). He’s close to split neutral this year, but does slightly better against righties (the same is true for his career). I’d really like to spoil would could possibly be one of his last starts against the Cubs ever.
