When Anthony Rizzo was surprisingly traded, it was written. I don’t mean on, like, stone tablets. I mean written by everyone, because they knew what that meant: if Rizzo was going now, there was just no chance Kris Bryant was staying.
The emotions will rise up for this one, too, but at least I’ve been preparing for it for almost three years at this point.
