Things are pretty much in full on crazy rumor mode on Twitter, with reports all over and conflicting with each other. I’m doing most of my reacting over there for now, until something more firm comes down the pike, but I didn’t want to leave folks here out of the loop.
So if you’ve missed anything over there:
Dodgers are among teams eyeing Craig Kimbrel. Not sure what their payroll could be but if they land him but their team is heading toward unstoppable.

We discussed this a little while ago fwiw, and my quick read was that the teams would have a very hard time lining up on value: https://t.co/MWoU0RCDWa
But hey. Keep all the bidders in! https://t.co/U3aY9sQMb7

The most interesting #Braves reunion would not be with Adam Duvall. They have inquired on Craig Kimbrell. But so many contenders — #Dodgers, #WhiteSox #Rays, etc — are pursuing.

On Kris Bryant, I don't think I've equivocated: since I don't think an extension is possible, & since I think re-signing in FA is very unlikely (variety of factors), it's my opinion that a trade that nets more than a comp pick is probably the right move.

Ugh. My tweet … was perfectly badly timed: https://t.co/4steRDwhY0

I believe this is legit. I also believe it is handy if you've been in long and stubborn talks with another team about a positional guy who can play in the outfield. https://t.co/cOkkx2lxLD

This is another one of those things that I'm sure is strictly true. But it certainly also conveys a message about what one team thinks about another team's price. https://t.co/x5eFJDasO8

Phillies tried to get Tyler Anderson, fell through. Gibson is likely much better, but he's been atrocious lately. https://t.co/kapdXveGZ6
