In the grand scheme of things, this Ian Happ home run against the Twins in late August isn’t going to matter all that much. Not for the Cubs, and not even for Happ, who has been hitting much better lately (he’s up to an 87 wRC+) and will be happy to get one from the right side of the plate. But that doesn’t really matter.
He absolutely destroyed this baseball and I just wanted you to see it.

I mean … wow. Statcast had it at 110 MPH off the bat and 437 feet, but it felt a whole lot deeper than that. The heigh, alone, I mean … yeesh. Boog says it all: “Ian Happ with an absolute BOMB …. his 17th.”
I mean, look where it wound up:
A very #RussCast-worthy HR from Ian Happ.
Estimated distance: 437 feet
Exit velocity: 110 mph
