The Michael Hermosillo game!
After double in the first, singling and scoring two in the second, Michael Hermosillo launched an absolute missile out of Wrigley Field and onto Waveland Ave. What a freakin’ bomb.

He’s like, uh, yeah, can you start me everyday yet?
Statcast had that at 384 feet, but … like, what? No. Come on. I think they’re forgetting a zero. Also, remember: It is not nearly as easy to hit one onto Waveland as it used to be (UPDATE: Just as typed that, Anthony Alford also hit one onto Waveland, because life is funny awful that way). What a blast, what a game. 5-0 Cubs after four.
UPDATE II: I knew that homer was further than that. Statcast just updated it to 425 feet.
