Ian Happ is the Hottest Cubs Hitter Since Frank Schwindel – Three-Run Jack in the First (VIDEO)

Chicago Cubs

I’ve never seen people get so angry about a Cubs player being blisteringly hot. And while I’m not ready to crown anything, as I wrote this morning, I’m certainly not going to dump on a guy who is hitting out of his mind.

That is to say, yes, Ian Happ just started off another hot day. A three-run shot in the first:

Happ is at his best when he’s going to that left-center alley (which happens to be a very friendly place to go at Wrigley Field – that ball is a double in any other park).

There is not a hotter hitter on the Cubs outside of Frank Schwindel right now (naturally Schwindel singled earlier in the inning and was on base for the Happ homer).
