If you put up league-leading type numbers while driving in the game-winning run four games in a row (and making history in the process), yeah, you’re gonna win some hardware.
So, sure enough, fresh on the heels of winning Rookie of the Month honors in August, Frank Schwindel kicks off September by winning NL Player of the Week:

Schwindel is hitting .374/.421/.699 over his 33 games (133 PAs) with the Cubs, sporting a 194 wRC+ in the process. It has been one of the most enjoyable stretches by any Cubs hitter in a long time, and the guy has almost single-handedly propped up a fun streak of Cubs baseball in an otherwise dark season.

There is *ONE* hitter in MLB with an ISO over .300 and strikeout rate under 20%. That hitter is Frank Schwindel.
Yes, Frank Schwindel has the best power to strikeout combo in MLB. On the Cubs. Frank Schwindel.

Now of course, you’re going to worry about the sustainability of that. Because:
2021 Average MLB Hitter BABIP on pitches out of the strike zone: 270
2021 Frank Schwindel BABIP on pitches out of the strike zone: 500
