The Cubs have lost five games in a row and the Cardinals have won 15 straight. So, you know, not a great stretch for our boys in blue. Here’s David Ross’ lineup for the series finale in Chicago.
Chicago Cubs Lineup:

3. Patrick Wisdom, 3B
4. Ian Happ, RF

Lefties have hit today’s Cardinal starter, Jake Woodford, well this season (.318/.347/.533; .367 wOBA), but he’ll get only four of them today. It’s just a far cry from the days where the Cubs could absolutely overload a lineup with hitters from one side or the other.
With Happ in right, that opens up left field for Nick Martini, one of the two true lefties in the lineup today, and Rafael Ortega in center, the other one. Frank Schwindel and Patrick Wisdom Matt Duffy are on the infield corners. David Bote is at second and that’s your Sunday lineup. Go Cubs.
As usual, we’ll have your full Pre-Gamin’ post closer to game time (1:20 CT).
