It was very cool yesterday to get to see new Cubs prospect Pete Crow-Armstrong finally start swinging again in the cage, and today we get more nerdery: him throwing with new Cubs infielder Nick Madrigal.
The duo are clearly out in Arizona continuing their rehab work, and found some time to play catch out on the back fields. I found it rather enjoyable to watch, limited and short as it is:

Madrigal, 24, is coming back from a sufficiently bad hamstring tear that it required surgery, and is expected to be ready for a normal Spring Training. PCA, 19, is coming back from (non-throwing) shoulder surgery, and is also expected to be ready for a normal Spring Training.
But here it is, mid-November, and they are out there getting in some work. Together. It’s nice. That’s all.
