The headline is a joke, not only because obviously, but also because Bryce Harper *actually did* outhit Frank Schwindel in the NL this year. As in, comparing Harper’s full year to even just Schwindel’s crazy hot two weeks, and Harper was better: .309/.429/.615 (170 wRC+) for Harper, and .342/.389/.613 (163 wRC+) for Schwindel.
Clearly, Bryce Harper deserved this, at least relative to Frank:
