It was a desperate need in the minor leagues. And although it took too many years (and a pandemic) to reveal just how bad things had gotten, at least it’s finally here.
Major League teams will be providing – full-on providing – housing for minor league players going forward:

If you’re a minor league player on a minor league deal (except for the ones that pay significant money), you’re going to have housing provided by your organization going forward. That should be the simple standard, and it’ll be the one organizations are judged against next year.
