It’s funny, right? Like, I’m still very upset about everything that is happening, and I am increasingly frustrated by the Commissioner of the highest league being unable to properly support this sport, but if you can’t laugh at something like this, what else can you do?
Thank you to the Kalamazoo Growlers of the Northwoods League for a little bit of levity. Er, at least I THINK there is some levity here? Actually, they might be kinda ticked:
RELEASE: MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred has been given a lifetime ban from Growlers games.
"The Growlers stand strong in their belief that fun is the key to baseball. Rob Manfred stands in direct opposition to these beliefs."

“The team looks forward to seeing you at the ballpark this summer … but not Rob Manfred.”
The Northwoods League is a developmental summer wood bat league, which typically features a whole lot of future draft prospects and pro players, but it is not officially affiliated with minor league or Major League Baseball. Hence the ability to do something like this without too much fear of reprisal. It certainly gave me a chuckle at a time when it’s pretty hard to chuckle about much.
