FINALLY.
MLB has allowed managers to challenge calls made on the field for just under a decade now, and for the most part it’s been a positive addition to the game. But anyone who’s actually watched one of these replay reviews play out knows how difficult it can often be to actually understand the decision the umpire has made.
Well, not anymore …
This season Major League Umpires will conduct in-park announcements during the Replay Review process. We're pleased to launch this enhancement to the ballpark and broadcast experiences. Training has been held in Arizona and Florida this spring. pic.twitter.com/vQvMXXPMjw

Umpires will now be mic’d up for announcements during the replay review, preventing us from ever again having to say “I guess they must have a different view in New York.” This will be for the broadcast and in the park.
According to the announcement, the umpires were trained on the process this spring and it’s being enacted this season (i.e. they’re not making us wait like some of the other promised improvements). My only issue? They waited to implement mics AFTER Joe West has officially retired. Cowards.
