Willson Contreras Just Hit One 453(!!!) Feet

Chicago Cubs

Pirates pitcher Zach Thompson went 3-0 on Willson Contreras in the first inning. That alone was ill-advised, but then he groooooved a fastball right down the middle. Bad idea. BUT! Contreras took that pitch. A surprising auto-take, but I didn’t really have a problem with it.

Then Thompson, at 3-1, decided to do it again. That one was a REALLY bad idea:

That’s 110.2 mph off the bat, and FOUR HUNDRED AND FIFTY THREE FEET out to center field. Willy swung as hard as he could, and the result speaks for itself.
